My Artistic Suicide

  1. You say goodbye to your demanding mistress by devoting yourself to her for another year. You make for her a year of ballads in honor of unrequited love. 365 days of soulful mourning and lamentation. Enough time to be entranced by a veil dancer, where truth is always at a distance and the future is always already. Do not underestimate the power of a muse to practice sleight of mind while leading you to mastery.

  2. It is hard to walk away from a project when it is unfinished. I written 70 songs and have them typed up and cords for them but not recording of them. Last year, I got ten songs done in a month due to the "Rpm Challenge" . By "done", I mean I taped them on my phone single track (vocals and guitar) and then converted them to MP3 on my GarageBand. Low Fi indeed! I felt good about having some concrete form of song. Every once in a while since they ended up on my itunes I get to hear one. I like three and seven others kind of make me sick!
